Yoga has helped me become more embodied, teaching me to intuitively honor my Self while connecting mind, body, and spirit. The practice, meaning “to yoke,” fosters compassion, community, and the beauty of being present through breath. I especially love yoga for creating space for stillness, growth, and deep healing, helping us connect to our bodies and release past traumas. As a teacher, I guide students in self-healing and mindfulness, experiencing yoga as a joyful, transformative dance.
I teach a weekly class at the Raritan Bay YMCA of Perth Amboy on Fridays at 5 :15pm, where I grew up and attended my first in-person yoga class, serving the Hispanic community of my hometown. When needed, I share the practice in Spanish to ensure it’s accessible to everyone. I also offer special classes like Kids Yoga and Mommy & Me. My classes aim to nurture self-awareness, inspire unity, and make yoga playful and inclusive.
I am a 240-hour certified yoga instructor, registered with the International Yoga Alliance. I completed my 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training at Himalaya Yoga Valley Centre in Goa, India.
